This week we finally did something for the fall. It has been a tough fall for us.
Evan started us out by getting sick the second week of school and it has made the rounds ever since. Evan and Griffin were treated for pneumonia and Oscar for bronchiolitis. Ryan was sicker than I have ever seen him and we spent a night in the hospital. He had severe pneumonia and ended up missing a week and a half of work. I thought I had somehow gotten lucky but now I am the worst of the bunch. Ugh.
Anyway, we did get out yesterday to a small local pumpkin patch and then today Ryan carved the pumpkins with the kids and made caramel apples.
Good thing Camie was here this weekend because she was able to run after Oscar when I was simply too tired to do it myself. I called out of work tonight and I am hoping that this will stop in a day or two.
Griffin fell in love with this little pumpkin.

Let the carving begin!
He is so hard to watch outside. He just wants
to run in to the street and away from where we are.
He does love to be outside, though.

So cute! I hope ya'll all feel better soon!
I am so very missing you all. I know I'll be there soon (for Ruth's sake anyway) enough, but looking at these pictures made me very emotional.
